I think this is Doug’s best work, the art and story are fantastic. The characters are likable and relatable, and the characters move the story forward.

I said to myself as soon as I heard the synopsis – ‘I bet theres some female character in there the lead male falls in love with’ and sure enough there is.
Alot of his work seems to hit the same story beats and have similar arcs (male lead that messes up/needs redemption, meets old girlfriend/female and in the end falls in love, bad guy that spouts cliches, ) and its starting to feel a little ‘by-the-book’ for me so I’ll be giving this one a pass I think.
