It’s not nearly as random as Family Guy (and much better that FG in my opinion) and each chapter or series of chapters usually revolves around a certain topic or point that the random segues into culturual references pokes fun at.

One thing I”m curious about the English adaptation is how they handled everyone’s names. Just about every character’s name, when written in kanji, can be read in two ways depending on how it’s viewed and I can’t see any way they could make this work without a lot of notes in the back of the volume.

Either way, this was a great read and unless they made some serious changes in the English version, I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with the purchase.
