The anime I absolutely love, but by your reaction, I think I will bypass the manga. It’s likely they didn’t include most of the more repetitive stories because in the 5-6 episode, they go to the corrupt veterinarian one.
I hadn’t thought much about the eye size, but I admit they are quite saucer-esque. And I too love how the hair was drawn ^^

i LOVED the anime verson of Hell Girl! I just finished the first season recently. I have finally become obsessed with it. I’ve tracked down the anime’s second season and volume 1 of the manga. I watch the english-dubbed verison because when you watch the english-subbed version the character’s voices sound TOTALLY DIFFERENT and the effect of the voices adds to the anime. Personally it is my favorite anime EVER

the anime is much different and much better than the manga. There’s something that the anime has about the music and art that the manga just doesn’t have. I’ve got to admit I was dissapointes about the first vol too. But I would keep reading because the third and sixth volume are really good.

I bought the first vol. and i had to say mid-book of reading it, i was disappointed about alot of things with the book. mostly about the style of art and how different it is. and personnally i didnt care for it for Jigoku Shoujo. maybe it would have been good for Full moon, but not something like Hell Girl. and alot of concepts were taken out in the manga, no caridge(Wanyudo), no flowers sending you, but her bells on her bracelet, and she had an evil expression/ aura or something likethat. the girl from ch.1/ep.1 and a whole bunch of people look different in the manga than the anime. and is” maybe you want to try dying once?” instead of “perphaps, it is time to die” (directly from jap. translation). i am a huge Hell Girl fan as you can tell^_^; i personally perfer the anime. the manga is good, but its just not the same.

I loved Hell Girl. it was just very cool! For some reason i kinda wish that Hell Girl really was real, but then that kinda would be bad, right? Still the manga was awsome!!!

Why are all of saying bad things about eto-sans work? I think she did a really good job,and her eyes are very detailed,the only thing that makes the enma ai cheracter differint is th eyes but still eto-san is a very good artist.

ok The manga istn’t that bad. yes the anime series was way better, but who cares its still a great series. But my favorite volume was volume 3. what about you.
