I agree with everything you said in this review, and I can't wait for more volumes to be translated so I can be even more enlightened reading them!! You've probably read all of them, but if anyone reading this hasn't, I'd also personally recommend vol. 4, "Karma", it was the one that got me really thinking that "Pheonix" wasn't just any manga. Great to see this series getting more publicity in the states–I think it’s really one of the best works of the comics medium ever crafted, East or West.
