Hopefully the comic will deepen abit as the creative team continues with the story. The one thing i thought that was alittle off was not establishing the setting definitively. For half the first issue I thought it was meant to be a period piece and then again in the second with the transition from feudal japan to a more modern yakuza setting. They need to define where modern japan begins and the samurai malarky stops. That said however, i'd love to see a second series. Good reviews, bad reviews, they all good to me. :) I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that we definetly don't take ourselves or Sam Noir very seriously. It is meant to be fun, quirky. We both enjoyed making it and we both know that our brand of humor may not always hit people the way we intend it to. But that's the joy of comics. We are each allowed to read it and walk away with our own perspectives. The second and third issues are stronger to us, but your mileage may vary.
